MESOSCOPE announce advanced type of TEM Sample Preparation Tungsten Tip

For the sample preparation institute in electron microscope, the tip specification can be ordered with different apex radius, body strength which is referred to the cone body diameter below tip apex 2um distance and tip cone length.

  • Cone body diameter (CBD), cone length, cone shrink types and apex curvature radius can be choices.
  • With smaller CBD value and longer cone shrink type, the effective length for the tip cutting in sample preparation process will be longer than the tip with larger CBD value.
  • RCSL (Real Cone Shrank Length) affect the available using length
  • Avoid splash damage

This will increase tip used life time and smaller tip apex curvature radius will be useful for lamella pick-up during the operation.
